Capture Browser Trace Information

When reporting an issue with the BlendVision player, providing browser trace information can help us understand and investigate the problem more effectively. This guide outlines how to capture and save relevant data to share with our support team.

Important Note

HAR (HTTP Archive) files can contain sensitive information, such as browser cookies and form submissions. Please review and sanitize these files as needed before sharing them.

How to Capture a HAR File

Use Chrome DevTools:

  1. Navigate to the page where you are experiencing the issue with the BlendVision player.
  2. Open Chrome DevTools by right-clicking on the page and selecting Inspect.
  3. In the DevTools panel, click on the Network tab to start recording network activity.
  4. Check the Preserve log option to retain the log during page navigation.
  5. Click Clear network log.
  6. Reproduce the issue by interacting with the BlendVision player. 7.After reproducing the issue, click on Export HAR (sanitized) and save the HAR file.

Once you have saved the HAR file, you can upload it as an attachment in your support case.
